The africans often tried to own cheetas. Though they were cute as cubs they were almost always token away from the mother, so that they can kill the mother for her fur, and then sell the cubs for money. Although, in the end the cubs are usualy killed forr thier fur as well.

Roman pets
The romans, like the greeks, often alowed thier children to own pets to keep thrm preocupied, and entertained. But the children werent the only ones to own pets at this time, no sir, the adults owned pets to. Even royalty owned pets. Pets that the greeks owned often included: horses, cattle, dogs, cats&birds.
Greek pets
The greeks let thier children own pets to keep them happy and entertained. Greek pets included: birds,cats ,dogs,horses, cattle ect. Exotics included: insects, tigers,bears,camels, ect. The greeks also often engraved pictures of their children playing and having fun with their pets into the grave of their children.

egyptian pets

The egyptians often owned and worshiped thier pets. though cattle and liivestock were most important to them, they were not often worshiped, were as cats and dogs were worshiped as the gods, anubis and baset. Anubis was the god of enbalming. Though he was more of a jakle than a dog. Baset however, (the cat godess) was the godess of protecting woman and cats. She looks like a cat, but can be identifyed by the gold ring in her nose.
